A: Mary Sue Candies stands behind every item we sell and offers a 100% satisfaction guarantee. If you are not satisfied with your gift, please notify us within one week of the order and we will be happy to correct the problem.

Q: How do I know the information I submit to Mary Sue Candies is secure?

A: Because your credit card security is our highest priority, Mary Sue Candies has taken several steps to ensure that your payment information is processed confidentially and accurately. All personal information is encrypted prior to being sent to us.

Q: How can I pay for my order?

A: Mary Sue Candies accepts all major credit cards: Visa, MasterCard, Discover and American Express.

Q: How do I pay for my Chocolate of the Month Club membership? (Or the one I gave as a gift.)

A: Your credit card will be billed monthly on the day of your original order until the club membership is canceled. To cancel your membership, email us at info@marysue.com



Shipping and Packaging

Q: How much do you charge for shipping and handling?

A: We do not have a handling charge.

Q: Does Mary Sue Candies make international deliveries?

A: Due to the nature of our product and U.S. Customs regulations, currently we can only ship within the continental United States.

Q: How long will it take for my order to arrive?

A: It will take 1-3 days to make up your order and package for delivery. Then depending on your method of delivery it can take another few days for it to arrive at your door. All efforts are made to get the candy to you as soon as we can, but every box of candy is made fresh, when we receive your order, so it can take a few days.

Q: I made a mistake when I filled out the shipping address form. How can I change it?

A: If the order has already been submitted to us, email us your information (including receipt number and date of order) at info@marysue.com and we will attempt to correct it on your order.

Q: What carrier will deliver it?

A: We presently only use UPS for deliveries to provide the lowest cost to our customers.

Q: How do you ship chocolates during hotter months?

A: During the warm temperature season (70 and above), chocolates are packed in insulated packages with ice packs at an additional fee of $9.00/order. It will located on the shipping section.



About Our Chocolate

Q: What makes Mary Sue Candies chocolate special?

A: Our chocolates are handcrafted fresh daily from the highest quality Swiss chocolate base with a high concentration of cocoa butter and cocoa liquor. Our secret recipe has almost 100 years of tradition behind it. Our chocolates are made with whole nuts rather than pieces wherever possible and all other fillings use top-notch ingredients, from cream to crisps.

Q: Does Mary Sue Candies chocolate contain nuts?

A: Our candies are made in a factory that produces items containing nuts, therefore if you are allergic to nuts you should not eat our candies.



How To Handle Chocolate

Q: Where should I store chocolates, e.g. refrigerator, freezer, dry place, moist place?

A: Chocolates should be stored in a dry, cool place. If you are going to put them in the freezer, place them first in the refrigerator for 24 hours to prevent shocking the chocolate.

Q: What is the proper way to "thaw out" the chocolate once it is taken out of freezer?

A: After removing the chocolates from the freezer, place them in the refrigerator for 24 hours and then store in a dry, cool place.

Q: How long will my chocolates stay fresh?

A: The higher the quality, the longer the chocolates will last. Our chocolates can last up to six months if stored properly in a dry, cool place.

Q: My chocolate has turned white. Why is it white, and is it still edible?

A: Chocolate that has turned white is still edible. It changes color because the cocoa butter is rising to the surface. This is caused by a rapid change in temperature or humidity.
